Brian started hunting over 30 years ago, and started guiding in 1992. Brian has travelled to Alaska, North America, South America Canada, Australia, Europe Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany and Africa hunting, guiding hunters and filming hunts since 1995. With Brian hunting both the New Zealand and North American seasons he is clocking up over 300 days hunting a year.
Brian really enjoys being out there in the great outdoors sharing his knowledge of the animals he loves to hunt and the country he knows so well, helping to make the dreams of his hunters come true, this is his real passion.
Brian knows what is expected on a guided hunt and strives to be the very best. He has been a professional cameraman filming for hunting TV show “Relentless Pursuits” (USA) since 1997 and filming his own hunts and most of his clients hunts – which has led to his hugely successful DVD series. Few hunters in New Zealand have the wide experience and phenomenal success rate, as Brian does, when hunting Free Range animals in New Zealand.
Brian lives in New Zealand with his wife Anna. Brian has two black labs Leica (in photo) and Steyr (Leica’s daughter) and Ollie a GSP. All 3 dogs live for hunting and one is always with Brian as his tracking dog.
