A warm welcome awaits you at our purpose-built hunting lodge near the headwaters of the beautiful Rangitikei River in the North Island. When you stay with us we maintain an informal environment with all the comforts of home complete with some good ol’ Kiwi wit! The lodge is situated in the heart of the ranch to maximise hunt time. It features six spacious guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a large deck area, private Jacuzzi, gun room and a cosy lounge. Housekeeper services are included. From the deck outside you can ‘spot’ game roaming, marvel at the ever-changing view and watch the magnificent sunsets. While reconnecting with nature, stay connected with our high-speed internet and WIFI so you can easily share the thrill of your New Zealand trophy hunt with friends and family back home.

After an exhilarating day’s hunt you can relax by the fire with fellow guests or mingle outside on the deck around the manuka wood-fired BBQ. Mouth-watering venison or fillets of beef steak are popular fare. Sika deer back straps (our favourite) are hung and cured for up to two weeks before roasting. On a clear night, Shane will stoke up the brick BBQ fired with manuka wood to sizzle steaks so guests can experience how New Zealanders eat all summer long. Dinner is served buffet style and accompanied by fresh salads made with seasonal produce. Premium New Zealand wines are poured with our compliments. Our daily home-baking means you are likely to depart with a recipe in one hand and a warm muffin in the other. Catering for gluten free and special diets is not a problem for our chef.
